Alternative administration forms for vaccination

Despite the success of our influenza vaccine Influvac® Solvay Pharmaceuticals is aware that many doctors and their patients would prefer a needle-free method of getting protection against influenza. Moreover a trend is visible that vaccination policies are expanded to children and the working population. Much research is being undertaken into alternative forms of administration for influenza vaccines, like for instance intranasal formulations. Solvay Pharmaceuticals is also actively exploring different options and technologies. We are determined to further develop and expand our product portfolio and to develop a new administration form that both doctors and patients will find valuable and attractive to use.
